These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Wedding Mela, operated by Wedding Mela. By accessing or using the Wedding Mela website the “Website” or any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you may not access or use the Website.
2. Description of Service
Wedding Mela provides an online platform that connects users Clients with vendors and service providers offering wedding-related services, including but not limited to venue bookings, catering, photography, and event planning. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice.
3. User Conduct
You agree to use the Website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. You may not use the Website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Website or interfere with any other party’s use of the Website.
4. Registration and Account Security
In order to access certain features of the Website, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
The Website and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Wedding Mela and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Website.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Wedding Mela, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Website; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Website; (iii) any content obtained from the Website; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
7. Validity of Quotation:
This wedding package quotation is valid for 7 (Seven) days only and the services on this offer will be reserved subject to payment of the deposit as stated above. (CONT.)
8.DAMAGE TO PROPERTY:
Client will be responsible for any damage to property including but not limited to centerpieces, chairs, linens, carpet, backdrops etc. Once decorations are set up, all equipment’s brought in and set up will be under client’s liability. All damage and or missing property will be charged at full replacement cost.
9. Cancellation of Event:
Once a booking is made, if it is subsequently canceled, a cancellation fee will be charged to the client accordingly. Advance payment will not be returned if the event is being canceled
10. Cancellation Policy:
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to Wedding Mela, Advance payment will not be returned if the event is being canceled.
Up to 90 days prior / (Will vary based on Booking Date incase less than 90 days) to the event you will be entitled to 50% of the total paid less any supplier cancellation charges.
90 days to 45 days you will be entitled to 25% of the total paid less any supplier cancellation charges.
Up to 30 days prior to the event you will be entitled to 10% of the total paid less any supplier cancellation charges.
Incase a booking has been made in a short span having less than a month for the event and a cancellation has been made, Advance payment will not be returned if the event is being canceled.
Please note that irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs, there would be a service charge of 10% which would be applicable incase of cancellation of services after the booking is made with us.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
